Abstract (EN)

After the valuable efforts that Ibn Rushd presented to the world of Philosophy, Mullah Sadrâ's philosophy has an important place in terms of showing that philosophy continues to live in İslâmic lands until the sixteen thcentury, çontrary to the distressing perception that İslâmic Philosophy is now over due in Western Thought. Theem ergence of Mullah Sadrâ in a scientific atmosphere helped him to absorb the philosophies of both Greek and Eastern and Muslim philosophers, and synthesized them with his own the ories in thelight of revelation. Mullah Sadrâ named his philosophy, more accurately, his wisdom as "Hikmet-i Mütealiye". In his human-centered philosophy, Mullah Sadrâ took them an to a journey of fourtimes, in order to recognize God and achieveul timate happiness. So, them most affected by this journey is human and especially human soul. Mullah Sadrâ, therefore, paid attention to the soul philosophy and devoted the last volume of his work called"Asfar"to the philosophy of the soul. Mullah Sadrâ has examined thelegacy of the past philosophers about the soul, critically approached the mandre interpreted them. Sadrâ put forward many new ideas in his philosophy of the soul, different from the ones before him, and he has presented more than a hundred new theories to the world of philosophy. This situations hows how important the Sadrâ is from the perspective of İslâmic thought.
