Abstract (EN)
In this study, a network based local software for engine rebuilding sector was developed using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) model. An organization structure was established in a pilot firm of engine rebuilding industry. The level of competence of employees was determined. The network based administration software was developed in interface with the Microsoft Excel macro editor with Visual Basic codes. The process of engine revision could be controlled from acceptance to delivery within the scope of engine rebuilding services. Engine rebuilding services have been institutionalized with the network based local software. The pilot firm reached a clear view with the process improvement model.
