Abstract (EN)
In our country, the first law numbered 6085 on motor vehicles entered into force. Road Traffic Act No. 2918 entered into force later, as the strict liability was adopted.When the Turkish Code of Obligations and the Road Traffic Act No. 2918 are evaluated together, it is important to determine which provisions of the law will be applied to the damages arising from accidents on highways. This study covers the application area of the Road Traffic Law. In the study, the legal assessment of the liability of the vehicle operator are made, the persons responsible for the damage are evaluated and the liability conditions of the vehicle operator are examined.
