Abstract (EN)

With the widespread use of digital technologies and the Internet, remarkable transformations have begun to occur in television engagement practices. Television is in our daily life; It is a highly sought-after media tool due to its widespread access, easy-to-use, relatively economical and secondary monitoring structure. In addition, television is frequently preferred because it provides a source for many functions such as receiving news, entertainment, dividing the day, and spending time in the flow of daily life. The study traces the effects of these transformations on the way viewers relate to television content. It is not possible to consider the transformations in communication tools and the way audiences interact with the media separately from social, economic and political conditions. Based on this, the framework of the study was determined as the reality-talk show genre, which is a reality television content, and a research was conducted focusing on the concepts of crime, criminal and justice, which are the most frequently associated representations of this genre. In the study, a discourse analysis was conducted on the program Müge Anlı ile Tatlı Sert and a netnography study was carried out on the X (Twitter) platform in order to reveal the online mediated interaction patterns of the audience with Müge Anlı ile Tatlı Sert. The results are discussed within the framework of the relevant literature.
