Muğla 203 Sharia register book (1332-1334) and legal analysis

Sharia registers are accepted one of the sources that are considered important in understanding the period in which they were recorded. The subject of thesis is the Şer'iyye Registry Book of Mugla numbered 203. In this study, first of all, information was given about the Ottoman Legal System and the registers of the Sharia. Case summaries and transliteration of the registry book were included and the subject matter of the cases were briefly explained and evaluated. In this study, it is aimed to learn the subjects of the case, the decisions taken as a result of the lawsuit, the implementation stages of these decisions and their compliance with Islamic Law. In the registry number 203, there are examples of cases related to alimony, mehir, talâk, hul' , inheritance, dissolution. Keywords: Islam, Sharia, Registry, Muğla, Law.
