Lebid b. Rebia is one of the most important poets of the era of ignorance, and is one of the unique, rare poets of the era by passing through the filter of critics ' poems. Lebid, who began to sing poetry at a young age, took its place among the greatest poets of the period in a short time. What makes him the most important poet is that he is the only one who accepts Islam among his master and master. In this study, the place of poet and poet in Arab society, the life of poet, literary personality and the subjects that poet dealt with in the old Arab poetry, muallalka, and the characteristics of the old Arabic poetry are explained and the study is completed.
