Abstract (EN)
Muhammad Ali al-Sâbûnî was a prominent scholar in the modern Islamic intellectual world, particularly renowned for his contributions in the field of Quranic exegesis. His works are noted for their approach in explaining and interpreting the Quran's message within a contemporary context, while also encompassing the perspectives of classical exegetes. Al Sâbûnî's exegetical endeavors, especially his work "Safvetüt-Tefâsîr," stand out for their comprehensive and in-depth analysis, where verses are categorized by topics. This work is highly regarded as a significant resource among Muslims studying both in the Islamic world and in the West. Throughout his academic career, al-Sâbûnî influenced many students, significantly contributing to their spiritual and intellectual development. His impact extends beyond just the exegesis literature, leaving a lasting legacy in the academic education of Islamic sciences. The Quran has historically captivated Islamic scholars, inspiring numerous works focused on its linguistic and rhetorical aspects. As a recent exegete, Muhammad Ali al-Sâbûnî's "Safwat al-Tafasir" addresses various topics and subtleties related to rhetoric, leading to the belief that his work should be studied from a rhetorical perspective.
