Muhammad Avvâme's evaluations on the science of hadith in the work of Tedribu'r-Râvi

The work of Ibn al-Salah (d. 643/1245) named Muqaddimah seriously influenced the scholars after her in the science of hadith methodology. As a matter of fact, al-Nawawi (d. 676/1277), one of these scholars, with the thought of preparing a hadith method book that students can easily memorize, wrote the Muqaddimah of Ibn al-Salah with some additions under the name of Irshâd Tullâb Al-Haqâiq ila Ma'rifah Sunan Khayr Al-Khalâiq. Later, she made this work concise with the name of at-Tagrîb wa at-Taysîr li-Ma'rifah Sunan al-Bashîr an-Nadhîr. In our study, one of the important and comprehensive hadith methodology works written by Imam al-Suyûtî on at-Tagrîb wa at-Taysîr, "Tadrîb ar-Râwî fî Sharh Tagrîb an-Nawawî" is examined. In addition, in the study, the evaluations of Muhammad Avvâme, one of the important hadith scholars, about the science of hadith in the Tahqîq study named Tadrîb ar-Râwî were discussed.
