The textual criticism and the qiraat evaluation of the work en Nucûmu'z-Zâhira fi's-Seb'ati'l-Mutevâtira By Muhammad b. Sulaimân el-Hukrî

This study deals with the textual criticism and the qiraat evaluation of the work an-Nücûmü'z-zâhira fi's-seb'ati'l-mütevâtira by Muhammad B. Sulaimân al-Hukri. An-Nücûmü'z-zâhira reveals the life of Sulaiman al-Hukri in all its aspects from the perspective of tabaqat and rijal resources; and it also evaluates the work in terms of qirâat science. The Egyptian scholar al-Hukri lived in the eighth century. Al-Hukri stayed in the scientific and cultural basins of major Islamic towns such as Egypt, Medina and Jerusalem. Al-Hukri, who stands out with his works in the field of Fiqh, Nahw and Qiraat, acted as a manager and a judge in different periods at the state level. In the introductory part of the two-part work, the author's life and his studies are discussed. In the second part, the information about the copies of the work and their library records are given. In this part, the work is evaluated in terms of content, style and resources and the work is evaluated in terms of qirâat science. Moreover, the information and the tahqiq method are given.
