Muhammad Husayn Dhahabi and Muhammed Hadi Marifat's Views of TheMufassirs and Tafsir books in their work called "at-tafsir wal-mufassirun"

In this study, Muhammad Husayn Dhahabi and Muhammed Hadi Marifat's views of the mufassirs and tafsir books, in their work called at-Tafsir wal-Mufassirun, are examined. The aim of this study is to present the views of two authors from different madhhabs on the same subject and to interpret these views objectively. The study consists of four sections besides the introduction. In the introduction part, the subject, aim of the study, method of the study and the sources are presented. In the first chapter, information was given about the lives, teachers, students and works of Dhahabi and Marifat. In addition, the works of the authors' named at-Tafsir wal-Mufassirun were introduced in general terms. In the second chapter, the authors' view of the tafsir bi al-riwayah and its mufassirs was examined. From the point of tafsir, authors' view of the Prophet, companions of the Prophet (Sahabah) and the Tabi'un period was focused and the prominent people, in the field of Tafsir in the period of Sahabah and the Tabi'un, were introduced from the perspective of the authors. The evaluations of the authors for tafsir and mufassirs, which were compiled Riwayah style, were given and these evaluations were interpreted by us. In the third chapter, the authors' view of the tafsir bi al-dirayah and its mufassirs was examined and the evaluations of both authors were interpreted by us. vii In the fourth chapter, the authors' view of the tafsir bi-l-ishara and its mufassirs was examined and the evaluations of both authors were interpreted by us. In the conclusion chapter, evaluations were made for the data obtained from the whole study. In this study, the reasons for the authors to have different perspectives were determined and solutions were found to the problems encountered in this direction.
