Abstract (EN)
The study was created to reveal the evaluations of accounting professionals regarding the methods, legal regulations and practices that are thought to be a solution to the problem of 'Unfair Competition in the Accounting Profession' and to what extent they can contribute to the solution of the problem. It was aimed to determine whether there is a significant difference between the variables of age, gender, education level, professional experience, monthly income level and professional title against the methods that can be a solution to unfair competition. The data in the study was collected by applying a survey to 139 people, including Certified Public Accountants, Certified Public Accountants and Certified Public Accountants operating in Malatya province, registered with Malatya SMMMO. In the analysis of the study, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis tests were used to determine whether there was a significant difference between the group means. As a result of the study, when the total score obtained from the unfair competition scale in terms of dependent-independent working status, professional title and time spent in the profession was taken as the basis, significant differences were determined between the demographic groups of age, professional title and working style.
