Online collection method to solve collection problems of professional accountants: Examples of Antalya province

With the effect of globalization, the developments in the economic, social and technological fields have expanded the scope and quality of the information produced by accountants. Thus, the accounting profession has become an important role on decision- making process of the company by leaving the status of the offical who calculates the taxes to be paid by the enterprises. Increasing fields of activity of accountants has brought some problems. Such as inabilitiy to prevent unfair competition, collection problem, minimum wage enforcement, work load redundant bureaucratic procedures and etc. affect negatively the working conditions of accoutantants. While given informations about accounting profession is the first part of the study, and the second part is concerning about collecting and online collecting methods. In this study it is aimed to determine the collection problems encountered by professional accountants operating during their professional activities and to measure the effect of online collection usage in solving this problem. Survey method was used in the examination. As a result, it is seen that the members of the profession have problems in collection and have negative thoughts about the use of online collection.
