Abstract (EN)

Aim:The aim of this study was to investigate the comparative analysis of family pictures and freelance pictures of refugee and non-refugee children. Material and Method: This study was carried out in the appropriate physical environment of the refugee (n: 60) and non-refugee (n: 60) 120 primary school elementary school children living in the center of Gaziantep between 20.01.2019-25.06.2019. Child Information Form was used for data collection. The Family Drawing Test Form was used for evaluating children's family pictures, Free Pictures Form was used to evaluate free pictures view. The data obtained from the study were analyzed using the Chi-square test, which was used to determine whether there was a difference between two or more independent groups. Results: According to the findings in the pictures of children, it was found that the rate of preference of human figures in both groups was high and the drawings were suitable for the developmental age. According to the findings in the family pictures, it was observed that the first drawn figures in both groups were parents. Also in both groups, it was observed that the brothers and sisters was drawn by the children. Conclusion:It was concluded that there was no significant difference between the groups in terms of figure, drawing, color, subject and position characteristics of the free pictures drawn by children.There was no statistically significant difference between the family pictures drawn by the children, the sequence of the people drawn, the humming behavior in the drawing, the abnormal drawn person, the un drawn person, the apparent color characteristics used in the picture; It was concluded that there is a statistically significant difference in the characteristics of the person who draws close to him, the person he draws away, the person he draws first, the person he draws last, the person he draws abnormally and the person he draws with care.
