Abstract (EN)
Literature and psychology are two disciplines that deal with human in integrity and feed off each other. Both disciplines try to explain and make sense of human behavior, mental processes, emotions, thoughts and dreams. The fact that the psychoanalysis and literary science systematized by Freud are based on "language and expression" paves the way for the use of similar methods in the analysis of human beings and literary texts. Dream, which is used in both disciplines, is one of the elements that opens the way to go deeper into the person and the text. Murat Gülsoy gives works in the field of experimental literature in Turkish literature. Gülsoy's works, constructed with an avant-garde, surrealist and postmodernist understanding, take a different line with their stylistic diversity and richness of meaning. In Murat Gülsoy's works, which are the subject of this study, the dream constitutes the main axis of the text. The dreams and daydreams of the characters in the novel, waking up from one dream to another, constitute the layered structure of the text. In the works, an ironic parody of unconscious and conscious life is made with fantastic elements and dreams. In this study, which was created with an interdisciplinary method such as psychology, philosophy, thought systems, religious narratives, history, mythology and sociology, the psychological effects of the conflict and the struggle for existence between the characters of the novel and what the society accepts as legitimate; schizophrenic thinking styles and neurotic states were examined together with dreams and daydreams. Attention is drawn to the loneliness created by the oppressive norms and thoughts imposed by modernity, the feeling of emptiness and the disorder behind the order. The dynamics of the current age, the life preferences of people, their relations with the object; The changing perceptions of reality, psychological and mental states of the novels were examined with their aspects reflected in daydreams and dreams. This study is based on Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The works have been studied together with Murat Gülsoy's thoughts on creativity, authorship and dream and the sources he feeds on.
