Abstract (EN)

The effect of the murtakib-i kabira issue, which is related to the situation of the great sinner in this world and in the hereafter, on the groupings and cults in the Islamic society has been a subject that needs to be investigated. In our study, the effect of this issue on the formation processes of the Kharijites, Murcie and Mu'tazila which are some of theological sects has been emphasized. It is also known that this issue, known as murtekib-i kebire in the history of Islamic thought, affected many Islamic Sciences. In this respect, it is necessary to evaluate the issue of murtekib-i kebîre primarily as a human factor, in conjunction with religious, political and socio-cultural factors. In order to understand this issue, firstly the definitions that emerged around this issue were emphasized, then the reasons for the structuring that emerged in the context of this issue were examined. While making this evaluation, the integrity of the research was ensured by following the chronological order. In addition to these, we limited our research by considering ISIS among the groups that embrace violence and the Kharijites, Murjie, Mu'tazila sects rather than all theological sects. As a result of the research, it has been reached that the issue of murtekib-i kebîre has had the greatest impact on the emergence of the sects and structures. Keywords: The Great Sinner, Kharijites, Murcie, Mu'tazila, Isis
