Abstract (EN)

Most of today's energy consumption is met by fossil resources. The demand for energy is increasing day by day with the increasing fossil fuel reserves, population growth and the spread of technological devices that facilitate convenience. This situation necessarily directs countries to alternative energy sources other than existing energy sources. One of these alternative and fragmented energy sources stands out as biomass. Biomass is an energy source that can be used as an alternative to fossil fuels because it is available as a raw material and can be replaced wherever there are humans, animals or vegetation, and it has available options and a clean resource distribution. In addition, this important local alternative should be evaluated as much as possible to ensure that Turkey, which is not rich in fossil fuels, increases in energy and contributes to energy supply security for advanced sustainable economic growth. For this reason, in this research, the biomass potential of Muş was first calculated. The percentage of one kilogram of total energy consumption covered by biomass potential remains to be determined. Thus, it is tried to ensure co
