Muş central mouth vocabulary

This study is a dialect dictionary study that reveals the vocabulary of the dialect of Muş city centre. The basis of the study is composed of the words that represent the vocabulary of the dialect of Muş region. In the study, the names in the vocabulary of the dialect of Muş city centre were examined under seven main headings according to the thematic order: Tools-equipment, clothing-equipment-ornamentation, animal names, occupations-related names, agriculture-related names, building-related names, food and beveraga names and mainly words that are not found in the standard language in terms of sound and meaning are included. The identified words were also arranged in alphabetical order within themselves and their meanings in the context of the province were written. In order to reflect the sound richness of the dialect of Muş city centre, the words in the research were written using transliteration signs, and the distinctive intermediate sounds of vowels and consonants were given in detail. The data obtained were evaluated in the conclusion part. The aim of this study, which is vocabulary research with a special purpose, is to contribute to the Compilation Dictionary and to the dialect researches of Turkish in Turkey by identifying the words specific to the dialect of Muş city centre and supporting them with sample sentences.
