Isolation of Staphylococcus aureus ve Pseudomonas aeruginosa from mastitis milk in Mus region and determination of plasmid content

Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to identify Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates isolated from 88 randomly collected milk samples from different regions of Mus by biochemical and molecular methods. Molecular identification was done by polymerase chain reaction method using ald to P. aeruginosa and Nuc gene for S. aureus, resulting in a total of 19 suspected S. aureus strains and P. aeruginosa strains were not detected. The identified isolates were had plasmid DNA numbers varying from one to three and containing an average of two plasmids. While isolates showed the highest sensitivity to antibiotics (100%) against ciproflaxacin, the lowest susceptibility to penicillin, ceftazidime, piperacillin and trimethoprim (0.0%). The isolates showed the highest moderate susceptibility to kanamycin (52.7%) and the lowest moderate susceptibility to gentamicin (10.5%). S. aureus strains showed the highest resistance against penicillin, ceftazidime and trimethoprim antibiotics (100%) while the lowest resistance against Kanamycin (21%).
