Abstract (EN)

Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate and evaluate the state of anger - anger expression of football players who play in hearing impaired football competitions. Material and Method: Method part of the research was formed by using quantitative research methods and qualitative research methods together. The sample of the study consists of 50 football players with hearing impaired playing in the Spor Toto Deaf Football Super League and Spor Toto Deaf First Division. Anger - Anger Expression Style Scale was used for football players with hearing impaired and the data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 Package Program. The semi-structured interview forms of qualitative research techniques were applied to football referees working in the competitions for the assessment of football players with hearing impaired. Data were analyzed with NVIVO 11.0. Semi-structured observation forms were applied by monitoring the football competition for the hearing impaired and recording the necessary data and analyzed with expert opinions. Results: The trait anger scores of the participants were 23.20 ± 5.70; anger-in scores were 17.30 ± 3.41; anger expression scores were 17.82 ± 4.63; anger control scores were found to be 17.50 ± 3.63. Theme analysis was created from the data obtained after qualitative interviews and observation forms were interpreted by expert opinions. Conclusion: While the existence of positive factors of sport for individuals is known, various causes of aggressive behaviors caused by anger in hearing impaired football competitions have been identified and solutions have been proposed for these reasons.
