Some occultist interactions in Muslim thought

Occultism is known as the sum of activities in which people claim to have reached the truth only by intuition and discovery, leaving reason and revelation aside. According to mystics, every secret is seen as a treasure waiting to be discovered, and in order to know these mysterious secrets, it is necessary to have special experiences as well as being fully aware of intuitive powers. The claim that every person will have this intuitive power through their experiences has attracted the attention of people. These occult tendencies, which developed with the desire of man to know the unseen and the urge to know the secret, continue to exist today. Today, the deadlocks of capitalist life and the spiritual depressions of the person and the need for the sacred have caused people to turn to traditional occult tendencies shaped by modernity, along with monotheistic religions. Occult tendencies, which have started to exist in almost every society regardless of religious belief, sometimes exist in different cultures as they are, sometimes they exist by changing. In this context, in this thesis, the definition and formation process of occultism, some of the occultist interactions that exist in Muslim thought, and the approach of Islamic thought to these occultist interactions are discussed.
