Abstract (EN)
This study aims to examine the idioms, reduplications, formulaic expressions, regional words specific to the Yozgat dialect, and slang expressions found in the short story collection "Bozkırda Altmışaltı" first published in 2014. The introduction discusses the significance of vocabulary studies and their contribution to the field, based on the perspectives of experts in the literature. The second chapter presents an overview of Mustafa Çiftci's life, literary identity, and works, and includes summaries of the stories featured in the collection. In the third chapter, the vocabulary elements identified through a comprehensive analysis of the text are presented in detail, along with their usage in context and corresponding page numbers. In the conclusion, the findings are evaluated in terms of the work's contribution to the field of vocabulary studies, and the impact of the 1612 identified vocabulary elements on the richness of the Turkish language is revealed.
