The revi̇ew of Mustafa Ruhi̇ Şi̇ri̇n's poems i̇n terms of theme and messages i̇n the fi̇eld of Turki̇sh language teachi̇ng

Turkish language has a great role in revealing the world view of Turkish society. At this point, teaching Turkish language is vital in terms of the ability of expression, seeing the subtleties in life and learning about our cultural treasure based on solid foundations. Beginning from Primary and Secondary Schools, Turkish language teaching constitutes the first professional base to form a solid language structure. Turkish language courses should be based on gaining skills and practices more than simply providing information and theories. To achieve this, significant works of Children's literature are required. This study consist of examining the poems in the eight poetry books of Mustafa Ruhi Şirin ,who is one of the contemporary Children's literature artists, based on 5th,6th,7th and 8th grades Turkish Language teaching programme in terms of theme and messages considering Turkish Language teaching.
