Abstract (EN)
With this study, it is tried to determine what factors and to what extent that individuals take the participation bank into consideration. The effect of demographic variables on preference factors has been tried to be determined. For this purpose, 274 participation bank customers in the central districts of Gaziantep (Şehitkâmil, Sahinbey) were interviewed by face to face survey method. For the analysis of the study, IBM SPSS Statistics 23 Program was used; explanatory factor analysis, t-test, f- test, Welch, Brown and Forsythe Test were used. According to the results of the analysis, the situation was determined; recommendations were given to the banking sector and specifically to the participation banks. As a result of the study, variables affecting the participation bank preferences of the customers were grouped under five factors. These factors are: "Corporate Reputation Factor", "Financial Possibilities Factor", "Network of Branches and Alternative Channels", "Physical of the Bank Related Features Factor" and "Employee Related Features".
