Abstract (EN)
In addition to providing the nourishment that people need to maintain their existence, food also contains many sociological patterns regarding the relationship between people and people with nature. For this reason, social roles shaped around food in the construction of society, women's access to food and femininity established through the kitchen, how sustainable the ways followed in food production and consumption are of great importance in providing food security. The aim of this research is to understand where food produced in fair and reliable ways is positioned for women who have decision-making power in the food selection process, to make women's relations with the kitchen visible and to explore the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on women's access to food.Within this research, 12 women were interviewed and at the same time the purpose is to find out the place and importance of sustainable food in women's lives. It seems women still has deep bonds to food. For this reason, women's access to fair, reliable and clean food, which has an important place in ensuring food security, analyzed via data. During the research, it was tried to reveal which processes women did follow to access food and what values affect their food choices, and how the pandemic affects this process.
