Abstract (EN)
In this study of bachelor's degree; without giving harm to the historical structures which are functionally changed as museums, historical structure and exhibited objects inside have been aimed to be lightened availably. General protection principles of historical structures which are functionally changed as museums have been researched with examples in the theoretical part of the study. Lightining criteria has been examined in museums and exhibition halls. And in the application part Diyarbakır Dağ Kapı Bastion Exhibition hall which is functionally used as Exhibition place has been examined in details. In this content; definition of Diyarbakır city walls and Dağkapı Bastion exhibition hall have been made according to the criteria explained in the theoretical part; the current lightening of Diyarbakır Dağ Kapı Bastion exhibition hall has been examined. Its simulation has been prepared by computer programmed.Three different suggestions have been presented for lightening of exhibition hall and these suggestions have been compared.
