Abstract (EN)
Today, the services provided by the agricultural areas are not sufficient for visitors. In order to differentiate, it is necessary to stage the experience to the consumers. One of the most important sectors in which experience should be staged is the tourism sector. Museums, which are especially important for tourists who related to culture and city tourism and local people, it can be defined as institutions that inform people about culture, art, history, science, raise awareness, enable them to have fun, allow people to socialize and at the same time give their visitors experiences from various fields. The aim of this study is to determine whether there is a significant difference between the experience of visiting the museum without a guide and the experience of visiting a museum with a guide. The data obtained in this study, which was carried out with the single group pretest-posttest model, which is one of the pre-experimental models, was collected by face-to-face questionnaires distributed to the participants. The data collected from twenty-two participants determined by applying the purposive sampling technique were analyzed in the SPSS program. As a result of the research, a statistically significant difference was found in favor of posttests between guided museum visit education, entertainment, escape, aesthetics and general experience and guided museum visit education, entertainment, escape, aesthetic and general experience. In the light of the research results, suggestions for museum managers and future studies are presented. Keywords: Tourist Guide, Museum Guide, Consumer Experience, Museum Experience
