Abstract (EN)
This present study tries to state whether we can enrich the the museum education by some artistic activities or find out whether these activites influence the visual, auditory and kinesthetic tendencies and to find out the degree of influence if there is any.A pretest of learning style index which comprises 12 items each of them measure visual, auditory and kinesthetic tendencies was given to a sample of 95 students in Bahçelievler primary school in Çorum city in Turkey before two days. After that the students were given a booklet which gives information about the museum and told them to read for two days. Later museum visit was started with help of the travel guide and at the end of the visit, they were invited to participate to activites such as drama and they were told to design and draw a vase like the one where they have seen in the museum by using their creativity and imagination. Besides they were asked to answer three questions about the content of museum.After all of these activities, the post-test were readministered. Finally it was found out that the differences between the pre-test and post-test were signficant at the 0.05 level in visuals, auditory and kinestetic tendencies.Key Words: Museum Education, Learning Styles (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic), Artistic Activities.
