Al-muzani's opposing views against İmam Al-Shafi'i and his place in madhab

The contribution of the first students occuring the systematical structure and consisting Al-Shafi's Madhab is not deniable. The outstandings of his students are those Zaferani in Iraq; Buveyti, Muzani and Rebi bin Suleyman al-Muradi in Egypt. Among those students Muzani is the first interested in the words of the scripture. Then he begins to interest in Fıkh deeds mhen Imam Shafi comes to Egypt, Muzani becomes one of the students of Imam Shafi for a short time such as four years. Imam Shafi admires him because Muzani has agood of debate and proof. In the other words, he is a skillful debater. He becomes the madhab assistans of Imam Shafi. After the death of Imam Shafi, he writes many works. Moreover, he becomes very famous in the madhab with his noticeable work called 'Muhtasaru'l-Muzani'. Muhtasaru'l-Muzani is among the main resource of Shafi Madhab. Even though Muzani's work resembles and shortens the book of Imam Shafi's al-Umm. It has various subject arrangement. For this reason, one cannot find Shafi's views in Muhtasaru'l-Muzani. It emerges as an original work because of taking place interpretation in his work. In addition to that, Muzani has also expressed from the begining of this book that "I have summarized this book from Imam Shafi's knowledge and thoughts." This book is called as 'Muhtasar'. Muhtasar is taught as a textbook for years and occurs a sample for later works with its systematical structure. Unfortunately, many commentaries and explanations have been expressed on it by the writers. Firstly, Muzani gives places to Imam Shafi's Thoughts in every deed and then he brings up and interprets what Imam Shafi means in his Muhtasar. While explaining his instructor's views, he also added his opinions, too. His ideas are not thought as a madhab, however they are evaluated and include in many figh's works.
