Abstract (EN)

The history of music begins with human existence. When people start to make sounds, they take music into their lives by perceiving the sounds of nature along with the meaning of words. Moreover, the fact that the rhythm, which is one of the basic elements of music, has been felt through the heart even when it is an embryo, allows us to say that it is intertwined with it even before it is born. Belief instinct, like music, has existed in people's lives since the first years of human history and played a role in shaping their lives. This phenomenon, which was accepted in the form of worship that it could not make sense in the early times, took on a different form when God intervened by sending prophets to the universe. From this stage onwards, it has emerged as a rule-setting phenomenon aimed at regulating the lives of believers. There have been discussions about the religious legitimacy of music in the historical process. The idea that music, which is still going on today, is banned by religion may negatively affect some people's view of music. However, music affects people with a content that exists with the heart's sense of rhythm in nature and sometimes increases the belief of individuals with religious beliefs when the declarations of believers are taken into consideration. A sense of faith and music appeal to the soul of man. When these two phenomena and the interaction between the two are directed correctly, they contribute to the development of the individual's faith.
