Effects of musical appreciation of the students, who get music education, on the selection of instrument

In this research, it has been aime to determine the concepts of musical appreciation effects on the selection of instrument; in accordance with the studies about music, instrument and appreciation within the frame of effects of musical appreciation of the Students, who get music education, on the selection of instrument. The scope of this research is limited to the data collection tool and the data collection group. Malatya Province İnönü University Faculty of Education (1,2,3,4. Grades total 90 students), Faculty of Fine Arts (1,2,3,4. Grades total 74 students), Malatya High School of Fine Arts Music Department (9,10,11,12. It was assumed that the data collection tool applied to the music department), of Kahramanmaraş Fine Arts High School (9,10,11,12. Grades total 56 students) revealed the research aims. It was assumed that the participants in the sample answered the data collection tool sincerely. Literature survey method was used to collect and conclude scientific data during the research. Also for the purpose of gathering the opinions of the Music Education Students. After analyzing the frequency (f) and percentage (%) values of the 22-item questionnaire results, the results were converted into graphics and tables and the degree of participation for some variables in the table interpretation section "None, Very Low, Medium, Large and Completely interpreted as a whole. According to the answers given by the Music Education Students who participated in the questionnaire, it was found that there was no significant relationship between the musical tastes and the musical instrument of the music teachers and prospective teachers.
