Abstract (EN)

In this study,2-amino thiazole methacrylamid monomer was prepared byreaction of 2-amino thiazole and methacryloil chlorid with the presence ofOpotassium carbonate at 0 C in dicholoro methane solvent. Thehomopolymerization of TMA were carried out under nitrogen atmosphere in 1,4-dioksane solution at 65 OC with by using AIBN as an initiator. The free radicalcopolymerizations of TMA with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) were carried out inthe 1,4- dioksan solvent with AIBN as initiator. The monomers, homopolymersand copolymers were characterized by Infrared(IR),13C-NMR and 1H-NMRtechniques. The copolymer compounds were determinated by elemental analysis.Thermal properties of the polymer were also studied by thermogravimetricanalysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The monomerreactivity ratios were calculated according to the general copolymerizationequation using Kelen-Tüdos(K-T) and Fineman-Ross(F-R) linerization methods.Also, in order to determinate biological activities of polymer were obtained bythe disc difusion method2006, 70 pagesKEY WORDS: 2-aminothiazol, methacrylamid, biological activity, monomerreactivity ratios, glycidyl methacrylate5
