About reliability of nonrepairable k-out-of-n system

The system is a combination of items designed in a complex form to achieve a specific aim. The constituent parts of system is called system's component. Different system types is obtained such situations components of the system is repairable or nonrepairable, to be dependent or indepedendent. There are three basic systems by serial, parallel and k-out-of-n however most commonly and frequently are used k-outof- n systems. In the first chapter, it is adverted the reliability concept and systems also it is mentioned previous studies about system reliability. In the second chapter, basic functions and values are introduced that are used in reliability analysis also some special distributions used to calculate the reliability of items are introduced. In third chapter, the structures are used to build the systems, path and cut sets are introduced, also it is described how to obtain cut and path sets. In the fourth chapter, the systems with independent components are introduced and shown how to calculate their reliabilities. In the fifth chapter; nonrepairable k-out-of-n systems with independent components, F systems, G systems and consecutive systems are introduced. k-out-of-n: F system, G system and consecutive system are analyzed seperately and finally these system compared for n=5.
