Abstract (EN)
In this study; instruments, apparatus and accessories of nanotechnology are introduced. The information about application areas of nanotechnology and its situation in the world and Turkey is given. The applications of nanotechnology in textile are investigated in detail. In this scope; nanoparticles, phase change materials, shape memory materials, chromic materials, electrical applications, the technologies used for forming nanoscale surface, nanosize finishes are explained. And also, the new products including nanofibers, nanotubes, nanocomposites are emphasized. Additionally; suggestions are given about nanotechnology and its applications in textile for the future studies. Key Words: Textile, Nanotechnology, Nanofiber, Nanotube
