Özet (EN)
Due to the use of natural pigments for the manufacture of the natural dyeings, the natural dyeings are more pleasing and have a peaceful effect on people. Besides these dyeings reduce the environmental pollution and don?t damage people health. The tourists have more interests to the natural dyed products, once again expose the importance of the natural dyeing for our country's foreing currency input. The natural dyeings are made by using the natural dyestuff in nature. Quercetin, which is extracted from the Punica granatum rind and a natural dyestuff, exists in most fruits and vegetables. In this research, quercetin, which is extracted from the Punica granatum rind and various metal salts are used as a mordan material, was applied to the wool fabrics according to six difference dyeing methods, by means of tampon solutions prepared pH:4 and pH:6, at 100°C, at the closed system. Tannic acid , which is used as a wool dyeing because of its light-washing fastness and properties of antibacterial and antiviral behaviours like that removing marggot-larva and other allergic materials, was approved in our study. It was investigated the practicability of different kind of fabrics and fibers of Punica granatum rind extracts, the effectness of mordan salt quantities and type , the volume of granatum rind extract and different type of Punica granatum rind extract and tannic acid quantities. Optimum pH, mordan and dyeing methods, the colour codes of dyed wool fabrics, measurement results and K/S rates were determined. Finnally light and rubbing fastness tests were applied on fabrics. As a result of this study : It was obtained that light yellow, earth-colour, khaki and light brown colours by using of Al(NO3)3.9H2O, CdCl2.H2O, MgCl2.6H2O, Pb(CH3COO)2.3H2O and KAl(SO4)2. 12H2O mordan salts , light green, greenish brown, yellowish green colours with Cu(CH3COO)2.H2O, K2CrO4 and K2Cr2O7 mordan salts, light brown and greyish brown colours by FeCl3 and Ag2SO4 mordan salts at pH:4 and pH:6 buffer solutions. And these colours resembled each other a lot.According to the light fastness tests, it was obtained rarely 3, a few test gave 7-8 and average results were 4-5. These results were obtained as good according to the natural dyeing at the literature researches. It was observed that the results test of the rubbing fastness were between 4-5 in the dyeing by the whole other mordan salts except FeCl3 and Ag2SO4 mordan salts and this result was very ideal for floor materials ( carpet and rug), the area which they were mostly applied. FeCl3 and Ag2SO4 mordan salts showed the rubbing fastness test result between 2 and 3 in the dyeing process.Key words: Punica granatum rind, quercetin, tannic acid, mordan salts, whool fabric.
