Textual criticism in Silsilatul Ahaadeeth Adda'Eefah vel Mawdouah to Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani

The main goal of this study which we named as "Textual criticism in Silsilatul Ahaadeeth Ad-Da'eefah vel Mawdouah by Muhammad Nasiruddin Al-Albani" is to show that our islamic scholars have made criticism of the hadiths as againts common understanding among Orientalists and some İslamic Theologians. To prove this argument, we selected Al-Albani's Silsilatul Ahaadeeth AdDa'eefah vel Mawdouah and studied it in detail with in the context of textual criticism. This study consists of introduction, two chapters and conclusion. We briefed the terminology of nature of the text with in the science of hadith in introduction. First chapter is divided into two parts. İn the first part we studied biography of Al-Albani which consists of his life, knowladge, his teachers and students as well as some information about some of his works. İn the second part, we introduced Silsilatul Ahaadeeth Ad-Da'eefah vel Mawdouah and explained the methodologhy of the nature of the text which is used in this scholarly book. İn second chapter, the criteria on the nature of the text is being introduced. Then, some hadiths in which Al-Albani studied are searched by using textual criticism methods and finally, the results have been explained. The results and our findings have been summerized in conclusion chapter.
