The stories of Nebire Gıymatdinova and educational elements in the stories

This dissertation is based on the stories from the book ?Sihérçé? published in Kazan, in 1993 and written by Nebire Gıymatdinova who is one of the prominent representatives of the fieldwork in the Turkish dialects of the Tatar language. Nebire Gıymatdinova was born in the time of the former Soviet Union and wrote her earlier works during that period. She still writes books today. In this dissertation, I have tried to focus on the overall features of ?Modern Tatar Literature? which was gone through dramatic social changes and which still experiences as a search for an ideology. I have also aimed for determining the changes Tatar literature has been subject to and for understanding the role of the woman in his particular literature. Moreover, I have also tried to touch on the role of education as the writer herself places greater importance on public education. The chief aim of this dissertation is to introduce Nebire Gıymatdinova, who is the writer of twelve books, the editor of İdil magazine in Tataristan and the writer who has become renowned in her own country with the themes she handles and her style, to the Turkish reader. The dissertation is divided into there chapters. In the first chapter, I have focused on the author?s life, the social and literary environment that have affected the author, studies on the author and the 20th century Tatar literature based on references to various studies. In the second chapter, there are 9 stories both in Tatar Turkish and Turkey Turkish. The final chapter contains a textual glossary of the 3120 word which from up the stories.
