Structure and theme in poems of Necati Sarica

Necati Sarıca who was born in 1965 is poet and his poetry adventure began in the fourth grade of primary school. Sarıca's poetry and poems, whose main job is the prosecution, are remarkable issue. The focus of the study is the lack of a qualified scientific study about Sarıca who adopted the post-1980 imagery of poetry. "Necati Sarıca'nın Şiirlerinde Yapı ve Tema" prepared as a master thesis is the first of the scientific study about Necati Sarıca. The study consists of two parts except the introduction and conclusion. In the introduction part, the tradition of republican poetry is mentioned. Sarıca's life and understanding of art are discussed in the first chapter. In the second chapter, the elements of the poetic structure of Sarıca's poems are examined and classified according to thematic features. In the conclusion, Necati Sarıca's place in Turkish poetry is tried to be determined in the light of the findings. In this study, the text-based method was used. The method of comparison was also applied in some places. In addition, interviews were conducted with Necati Sarıca and colleagues and the study was guided in the light of the information obtained. His works are suitable for biographical reading and generally, themes in the poet's poems are mother, love, separation, epic and national speech, religion, women, death, color, political, city and mysticism. The themes were generally dominated by a sense of sadness. In the structure, It is seen that the poet prioritizes the meaning in his poems and does not fall into form anxiety.
