Abstract (EN)

Being both a poet and a writer of short stories and novels, Necip Fazıl is a figure who significantly contributed to the literary life in 20th century both with his thoughts and works. Apart from these characteristics, he was also a playwright, an orator, and a journalist who managed to do all these different kinds of jobs successfully. Besides, he tried to express his worldview through his works which cannot be separated from writer's character. His concern about being local and original in his poetry is reflected in his worldview. This case provided him with the features of being a poet and a thinker as well as a contemporary writer.Necip Fazıl combined a language similar to his poetic language with that of his short stories and novels, and formed a prose language special to him. He employed this language in his literary, religious, and autobiographic works. Both in his autobiographic works like "O ve Ben", "Kafa Kâğıdı" and in his prose works like "Çöle İnen Nur" which exemplify the traditional prose type, Necip Fazıl presents an affective and imitated authorship. This study focuses on Necip Fazıl's authorship in his short stories and novels. In this context, his works Hikâyelerim, Aynadaki Yalan, Kafa Kâğıdı, and Meş'um Yakut are analyzed.
