Optimization of sampling practice and cost analysis in water quality monitoring networks on river basins

Today, water quality monitoring sets out the basic principles for guiding sustainable water policies. Sampling activities include conservation, improvement of water resources and prevention of deterioration in quality; Obtaining samples for long-term conservation of water resources and taking them to the center for laboratory analysis are limited by physical and economic constraints. Completing the sampling procedure within a limited time and delivering it to perform the necessary tests also affects the frequency of observation. In the study, it was sought to answer the question of how to choose the route or routes where we can get the minimum cost of the stations that should be followed by considering the limits mentioned. In the next situation, an approach has been made by adapting to the Nearest Neighbor Algorithm of the Mobile Vendor Problem and the Vehicle Routing Problem has been tried to be solved with the Large Neighbor Search algorithm. The resulting methodology It has been applied to the existing stations in Gediz and Büyük Menderes Basin within the jurisdiction of the 2nd Regional Directorate of State Hydraulic Works with various programs and as a result route recommendations have been obtained on how sampling activities can be completed within themselves.
