Nene Hatun's life and Nene Hatun's bibliography

Erzurum, which has been subjected to continuous occupation and attacks due to its geographical location, is very important in terms of history and geography. Thus Erzurum has been under the protection of different states in different periods and has been occupied many times. The city, which was in the position of a bridge because of its geographic location, took the title of "Lock of Anatolia" as a result of its mission. Therefore the number of states that desire the rule of Erzurum is quite high and one of these states is the Ottoman State. The Ottoman Empire struggled for domination of Erzurum against Iran and Russia in general. One of the fierce struggles of the Ottoman Empire and the Russian State for the rule of Erzurum was the '93 War. As a result of this war, Erzurum was subjected to Russian occupation for a while and new characters emerged on the stage of history in consequence of the war. One of these characters is Nene Hatun. Although name of Nene Hatun is known today, there is not much information about her life. Thus the documents related with Nene Hatun in archive were recorded by us after process of classification, analysis and criticism. Afterwards, a detailed bibliography about Nene Hatun was prepared and an evaluation was made by examining the works and documents in the bibliography. Later, interviews with Nene Hatun were gathered under a single roof. By this way, it is aimed to bring Nene Hatun in a historical identity in the light of documents.
