Abstract (EN)

This study, it was aimed to compare thyroid and some blood-serum parameters statistically in neonatal calf diarrhea. The animal material of the study consisted of 50 animals, 30 diarrhea animals (study group), and 20 healthy animals (control group). Routine hematology values, blood gas analyses, and serum-biochemistry measurements were performed from taken blood-serum samples from animals. As a result of the statistical analysis of the results, there were changes in WBC, LYM%, MID%, Gran%, and RDW values were determined. In blood gas analyzes, bicarbonate and base deficiencies were detected due to the loss of liquid electrolytes. According to the statistical results of serum and biochemistry values, it was determined that there were significant changes in BUN, Urea, Creatinine, Albumin, MDA, and TP values. T4 levels were found to be lower in calves with diarrhea compared to healthy calves.
