Structure and theme in the novels of Nermin Yıldırım

Nermin Yıldırım enters the world of literature with Do Not Forget Me Apartment, which was published in 2011. She has an important place in our literature with her seven novels. The author, who touches on the problems of the age through heroines in her novels, also makes a difference with her unique language and style. In her novels, she tells about the wounds of women in mind and the lives of women who face those wounds and search for themselves and their home. In general, in her novels; It deals with issues such as family, family relations, women's individual and social problems, loneliness, escape, lack of communication, and the problem of belonging. The author, who deals with the problems of women from the past, especially from the family, in her novels, where she usually tells the lives of female characters, shows how these problems leave traces in the future lives of female characters. The author, who focuses on the loneliness of women and the traumas from her childhood, puts the family at the base of the individual's psychic problems. The author, who often dwells on the main issues of women who lead a problematic life today, shows that in each of her novels, the traumas of women from the past and their families turn them into lonely, unloved and unable to hold on to life. But not only does she show this, she describes the lives of these women in her novels; It tells the story of women who face the pain they experience, embark on a journey of self-seeking, sometimes find their home despite all the bad things they've been through, and sometimes face their experiences and find it late to heal themselves. As a result of this study, in the title of structure in the novels of the author; The identity of the novel will be examined under the titles of name-content relationship, time, place, point of view, cast of characters. Thus, the evaluation of the novels of the author will both facilitate and contribute to the evaluation of the novels in terms of being the first thesis.
