Abstract (EN)
The concept of the Internet of Things, including smartphones, smart watches, smart televisions, smart home appliances, IP-based cameras and even smart cars, has rapidly become popular, with the help of digitalization and industry 4.0 brought about by the development of information and communication technologies. While the comfort of life increases thanks to the products or technologies that come into our lives with this concept, security and privacy issues, which are becoming more difficult to ignore, are the most important problems that need to be addressed carefully. It is considered that privacy exposure of data leaks caused by IP-based cameras, which are widely used in remote access and management in institutions, organizations, residences and especially in places with critical infrastructures, unlike other devices in the Internet of Things concept, will have different consequences. As part of the thesis, issues related to cybersecurity in IP-based cameras and studies on this subject were examined, in addition, attacks on IP-based cameras were carried out and methods for these attacks were identified and their results were analyzed and solutions were presented to ensure maximum protection against cyber attacks that can be carried out against these devices and to ensure the continued availability of IP-based cameras.
