Nev'î-zâde Atâyî: Hadâ'iku'l-Hakâ'ik fî Tekmileti'ş-Şakâ'ik; analysis-text

The work named Hadâiku'l-hakāik fî Tekmileti'ş-şakāik had been written out in addition to Mecdî Efendi's Şakāiku'n-Nu'mâniyye translation called Hadâiku'ş-şakāik. It is known with the names of Zeyl-i Şakāik and Zeyl-i Atâyî. The work which is begun writing in 1632 has been completed in september 1634 in Üsküp. It includes the biographies of belonging Ottoman State of judges, proffessors, sheiks and statemen who had died between the years of 1533 and 1634. In this work important historical events has been explained which had occured between the involving dates. There are 1133 biographies in Zeyl-i Şakāik. 198 of them are the biographies of poets and literary men. In this study first general information has been given about translation and addition which had been written on the mark of tradition Şakāiku'n-Nu'mâniyye belonging to Hadâiku'l-hakāik fî Tekmileti'ş-şakāik. These works as different from other sources has been arranged as "exists" and "unexists". Şakāiku'n-Nu'mâniyye and its additions have been examined in the limitation of work arrangements and biography determining and in the result of this investigation, general qualities of the tradition have been fixed in the direction of inventions which have been existed. In the second stage of the thesis the written out biography, searching historical and contemporary sources of Nev'î-zâde Atâyî, the author of Hadâiku'l-hakāik fî Tekmileti'ş-şakāik has been discussed. In this biography, Atâyî's bibliography and life informations in Zeyl-i Şakāik have been added to the informations collected from the sources. In a later stage Zeyl-i Atâyî has been examined detailedly as turned towords exterior and interior, his content has been classified with the help of detailed plan and printed form divided into boxes to be filled in, his literary aspect has been exhibited, and his importance from the point of view of Turkish literature has been brought up. Lately the manuscripts of Hadâiku'l-hakāik fî Tekmileti'ş-şakāik have been examined, its descriptions have been exhibited. The edition critic of Zeyl-i Atâyî, established with comparing three manuscripts copy reflects the best from the view of the copy content, orthography and gramer rules of the auther of them, has been submitted after the important matters in establishing the text had been explained. In order to the researchers benefit from the work, proper nouns index has been constitudes and it has been placed at the end of this study.
