Nevbeti Divan written in eastern Turkistan field in cagatai Turkish

In this study, which was prepared as a doctoral thesis; The Nevbeti Divan, which is the only surviving work of the Sufi poet Nevbeti from Khoten, who lived in East Turkestan in the first half of the 18th century, which is called "The Era of Hodjas" by Uyghur historians, has been examined. From a rubai in the Hâtime section, it is known that the Divan was completed in H 1160/M 1747. In this respect, the work is among the products of the Post-Classical Period Chagatay Literature. With the study, the position of the work in the development process of Chagatai Turkish and language characteristics of Post-Classical Chagatai Turkish were determined based on the work. The effect of literary Uyghur Turkish and local Uyghur dialects on the language of the text is another issue discussed in the study. The life and literary activities of the poet Nevbetî were brought to light as a result of a wide source search, then the copy, which was copied with the nestalik Arabic calligraphy, was translated into Latin letters by the transcription method, the necessary explanations about the text were given in the footnotes. In the following section, the text was transferred to Turkey Turkish. The spelling features obtained during the transcription process and the phonetic and morphological language features of the work were revealed in separate sections, and the vocabulary of the text was determined with the prepared alphabetical grammatical index contributed to the researchers who will work in the field.
