Abstract (EN)
Fungal spores constitute one of the most important groups of airborne allergens. Determination of fungal spore concentration in the atmosphere is important in terms of planning the treatment of sensitive individuals, raising their qualities of life as well as decreasing treatment costs and preventing workforce losses. With this purpose, the fungal spores in Nevşehir atmosphere were studies with Burkard trap between dates of January 2014 and December 2019. In analyses of a period of 72 months, 407309 spores were detected belonging to 35 fungal taxa. Regarding the dominant spores in atmosphere, 55.4% of these spores were belongs to Cladosporium, 8,9% Leptosphaeria; 6,9% Alternaria; 3,4% 1-septate ascospore; 2,6% Periconia; 2,5% Ustilago; 2,4% Pleospora; 1,8% Coprinus; 1,5% Xylaria; 1,4% Melanomma; 1,3% Exosporium; 1,1% Nigrospora; 1,0% Didymella, 1,0% Puccinia. Moreover, total rate was specified as 8.8% for the spores of the 21 taxa lower than 1% in total spore amount. The lowest spore concentration was seen in 2017 January with 311 spores while the highest spore concentration was seen in 2016 June with 20587 spores. Daily, weekly and monthly values of spore amounts of each taxon in 1 m3 air were given as tables. In addit ion, the relationships of dominant taxa data with meteorological parameters were investigated using the Pearson correlation test. According to these data, spore calendar of Nevşehir Province was presented.
