Abstract (EN)

In this study, we present a novel video watermarking algorithm specifically designed for NFT applications. The proposed algorithm was designed with the intent to embed watermarks in video content and was subsequently tested against various attacks to evaluate the integrity and resilience of the watermark. The performance of the proposed algorithm was evaluated against a comprehensive set of attacks, including compression, geometric, temporal, filtering, noise addition, and quantization attacks. The results indicate that the algorithm demonstrates varying levels of resilience to different attacks, with some areas of vulnerability that impact the robustness of the watermark. Notably, it is successful against lossy and lossless compression methods, such as H.264 (with the same settings) and Huffyuv, and frequency-domain filtering attacks, such as the Wiener filter. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for the development of more robust video watermarking techniques for NFT applications. The proposed algorithm demonstrates promising potential for securing video content in the digital world, particularly in the context of NFTs. The NFT is first created, then it's metadata is added, it's unique token uri is set and then the NFT is deployed on the OpenSea platform. The URL of the specific NFT is then embedded inside the frames of a selected video. To know the owner of the video, the frames are extracted from the video and the URLs are extracted from the frames and compared with each other in order to get the perfect uncorrupted URL which will lead us to the NFT on OpenSea where all the information is stored.
