Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to produce metallic glass material with nickel matrix high hardness and high toughness based on Ni-W-B metallic glass alloy. The metallic glassware to be produced must have as high a critical casting thickness as possible in order to find a wide use area. The critical casting thickness of the Ni51W31.6B17.4 metallic glass system at the end of the preliminary work is 0.1 mm. This critical casting thickness is not sufficient for some applications. For this reason, the critical casting thickness of Ni51W31.6B17.4 metallic glass alloy will be increased as much as possible by systematically replacing tungsten with 10%, 15%, 20% tantalum, iron and chromium additive. Then the ability to vitrify with material characterization techniques will be examined.
