Religion as a social identity in Nietzsche's philosopy

Nietzsche is one of the most studied philosophers on the agenda and constantly because of his remarkable views in the field of religion and morality. The aim of this study is to depict Nietzsche's thoughts on morality by centering his works, to examine his views on religions based on the noble and weak moral classification. The main claim of the study is that the philosopher sees religions as the identities of societies, and religions describe societies in all aspects. In the first part of the study, the method of selecting the source that Nietzsche used in religious descriptions was explained, and a method that could be used in religious studies was proposed. The second part of the work is described in Nietzsche's the naturalistic attitude and the meaninglessness of nature, the basis of human behavior, instincts, and the philosopher's noble and weak human thoughts. In the third part of the study, Nietzsche argued that religion was seen as the identity of society, Nietzsche's studies of religion were described and the philosopher's reviews were interpreted and discussed.
