Nietzsche's critique of Platon

This research that aims to establish the place and importance of Plato and Nietzsche through the history of philosophy and to put forth the extent and the aspects of Nietzsche's critique of Plato in detail, focuses on explaining the basic concepts of Plato and Nietzsche's philosophies, generally Nietzsche's approach to Plato based philosophy and specially Nietzsche's critique of Plato. Nietzsche was searching for the meaning of the existence. According to Plato, purpose of existence was to reach the world of ideas and this can be only be accomplished with mind by ignoring instincts. Unlike Plato, Nietzsche thinks of existence as affirmation of this world and eternal recurrence, approval of life with all aspects, and humans being alive and free with all of their senses and instincts. Only this way humans can exceed the décadance form and become the overman. Yet giving meaning to existence against the world's terror and absurdity, can only be possible with art.
